Is this a DOI helmet?
No. The Sky Cowboy helmet is not certified to the DOI/USFS Aviation Helmet Standard. If you fly under contract to the Department of the Interior or the Forest Service, you need a helmet that meets that standard. The Sky Cowboy helmet is for private pilots choosing to wear a helmet.
